We welcome our friends and guests to join us for a week-long (7 days / 6 nights) food and cultural immersion near Kinsale, Ireland – the food capital of Ireland.

We will be staying together in a stunning, historical private villa for the week, in an amazing location overlooking the quaint sailing harbor and yacht club of Crosshaven.

Day excursions will include local restaurant outings as well as market visits, cultural visits, shopping together for ingredients, guided tours, and a private boat charter. Pictured here is one of the local cheese vendors at a nearby weekly organic farmer’s market. Our local Irish guide will take us through some of the wonderful food related and cultural sites in Cork on another day. It’s always a pleasure to experience another country through a local’s perspective! Cork is another wonderful city, with so much to see and explore.

Each morning, two students along with the chef will prepare breakfast for the group. After breakfast, enjoy some free time prior to meeting up again for the day’s activities and preparations of the recipes, when we are not going out to dinner. On cooking days, we will enjoy a lighter, al fresco lunch and have an evening meal of the recipes we have created together.

Our last evening together, we will enjoy discussing what we have learned, fallen in love with and what we will take home from our experiences. Let’s enjoy our last taste of Ireland together with new friends and recipes!

Quick Facts

• Local produce market excursion for discovery and purchase of ingredients and spices for our cooking classes

Getting into Crosshaven / arrival to our location – closest and easiest is to fly into Cork, though it is also easy via rental car (renting a car is nice as it will provide you with more freedom to explore on your own during our downtimes), train or flight from Dublin.  

You should definitely plan to visit other areas of Ireland (or UK, Scotland, or Europe) if time allows before or after your week with us while you are there. More information and assistance will be provided to guests confirmed for the program.
